ARCH has undergone a major reorganization during the past year.  Some of the changes include changing the association’s name to CAL ARCH to encompass care homes in all counties, electing new board members, and refining membership benefits.  The most exciting change was joining forces with San Francisco State University’s Gerontology’s Department in Long Term Care Administration and utilizing their faculty for teaching continuing education classes.  We recently mailed a letter to previous ARCH members providing more information about the reorganization and the names of the new board members.  Our mission is to continue serving the community and care home administrators and managers with education and support in addressing the complex issues in the care home industry.
