Greek Orthodox Archbishop of America visits the Archdiocese of San Francisco

His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros (Lambriniadis) of America, Most Honorable Exarch of the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, met on Thursday, March 2, with The Most Reverend Salvatore J. Cordileone, Archbishop of San Francisco, at his residence in San Francisco.

His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America was accompanied by His Eminence Metropolitan Gerasimos of San Francisco and His Grace Bishop Ioannis of Phocaea, Chancellor of the Metropolis of San Francisco.

During his pastoral visit from February 25 through March 3, the Greek Orthodox Archbishop met with many government officials and visited a number of Greek Orthodox churches in California and Arizona.

All are invited to another engagement between the Greek Orthodox and Catholic communities taking place on March 16, 2023, at 7:00 p.m., when His Eminence Metropolitan Gerasimos will preside and welcome His Excellency Archbishop Cordileone as homilist to an Ecumenical Service of Salutations to the Holy Cross at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Cross at 900 Alameda de las Pulgas in Belmont, CA.
